This October and November, Hope is facilitating our 'Friendships and Dating' course for young adults (ages 19-26). This course will begin on October 20 and will take place over five weeks with sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00 – 7:00pm.

The session will include topics such as:

  • Personal boundaries
  • Feelings
  • Types of relationships
  • Communication
  • Personal safety
  • Sexual health
  • Gender differences
  • Social activities
  • Dating process

Instructors will include:

  • Nicholai Hoefferle, Professional Development and Wellness Coordinator
  • Emily King, Behavioral Health Case Manager
  • Guest speakers

  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from each class.
  • Our trainers have limited capacity to provide individualized support. Participants who require a high level of assistance should arrange for a support staff member to accompany them to every class.
  • Participants are expected to make a good-faith effort to attend most classes.
