"Fun and Fabulous" Classes

Discover the joy of self-expression while indulging in self-care, creativity, and connection! Our Fun and Fabulous class is for people who love beauty, crafting, and being FABULOUS. With a fun, hands-on format using practice dolls, makeup templates, interactive computer games, and live tutorials, this class offers a playful but practical approach to personal style. Makeup Tutorials: Practice looks like contouring, eyeshadow blending, or bold lips on dolls—then try them on yourself with guidance! Intro to Skincare: Learn a simple, effective skincare routine and tips for healthy, glowing skin. Nail Art Fun: Try trendy nail stickers and easy DIY designs. DIY Accessories: Create your own stylish hair clips, charm bracelets, or earrings using provided materials. This is more than a beauty class—it’s a playful celebration of self-expression and creativity, with zero pressure and all the fun.

Gaming classes are held every Tuesday, excluding federal holidays, at a cost of $5 per class.

Discovery Center Class Policies

• Our Community Engagement Center classes are only available for current recipients of Hope’s Discovery Center waivered services. If the participant is not a current recipient, they will need to contact our New Services team before they are eligible to sign up for classes.
• Each class requires a minimum number of participants. If enrollment is insufficient, we may cancel, reschedule, or modify the class.
• All class payments are generally nonrefundable. However, if a class is canceled due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, payments will be credited toward future sessions or other classes. In cases of extenuating circumstances, participants may contact our team to discuss refund options.
• Class fees vary based on activities and materials but are averaged for consistency, with occasional adjustments to balance program costs.
• Please review the Lesko Discovery Center's Behavioral Expectations for All Group Service Recipients. Understanding and agreeing to these guidelines is essential for participation in our weekly classes and help ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
• Please note that we have accounted for all federal holidays on which Hope's main campuses are closed. No classes will be held on these recognized holidays:
