Discover a new vision for community living!
For many families, one question remains at the heart of future planning: Who will care for my loved one when I no longer can?
Hope Community Resources invites you to an in-person community forum as we discuss the future of intentional communities, neuro-inclusive housing, life-sharing models, and Ptarmigan Commons—a planned life-sharing housing community in the Mat-Su Valley where adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities can age in place and live with purpose, independence, and personalized supports, while remaining connected to the greater community.
Whether you are a person who experiences a disability, a family member, caregiver, provider, advocate, community partner, or simply interested in learning more, we invite you to be part of the conversation.
During this forum, you’ll learn about:
- What neuro-inclusive housing is and why it matters.
- Intentional communities and the life-sharing model of the future.
- Hope’s planned life-sharing community in the Mat-Su Valley called Ptarmigan Commons.
- How these models complement existing disability services and expand housing choices in Alaska.
- Opportunities to ask questions, share perspectives, and stay involved as the project moves forward.
