Celebrate the artistic talents of people with disabilities at Disability Expo Day at the Alaska State Fair! In addition to the Shining Abilities Craft Fair, which will be selling products created by people with disabilities, the expo will feature resource information booths, a calm-down sensory area, and sensory activities. Stop in and help support artists’ dreams and goals and get the info needed to bring our communities and families together.
If you or someone you support would like to attend the Disability Expo, visit the Events Tent (yellow gate area) on August 19 from 11am – 6pm and help support the artists, and get information about community resources and opportunities.
