Teach an Art Class at Hope Studios
December 2025 - April 2026
Interested in being a guest artist for upcoming Hope Studios Art Nights?
Let us know!
Hope is looking for experienced local artists to lead a series of community “Art Nights” at the Lesko Discovery Center in Anchorage. These events will take place on Friday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, with additional time allotted for setup and cleanup (approximately four hours total).
Experience in various art forms—such as painting, mixed media, drawing, collage, printmaking, or textiles—is welcome, and artists are encouraged to bring their own creative approach to projects that are inclusive and suitable for all ages, abilities, and skill levels. Class participants may include people who experience an intellectual or developmental disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
Guest art instructors will be compensated $150 per four-hour session. Artists may select one or more of the following available dates to teach. Each session offers an opportunity to share artistic techniques, connect with the community, and inspire creativity in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.
