Board of Director Changes
Hope Community Resources, Inc, | July 1, 2023
We would like to announce some recent updates to our Board of Directors.
Kendra Sticka, who has served on Hope's Board since 2021, has now taken on the role of Board President as of June 28, 2023. We are excited to welcome her into this role! Kendra has been the Associate Dean of Clinical Health Sciences at UAA but will transition to Executive Director of HealtheConnect Alaska in mid-July.
Our former Board President of seven years, John Dittrich, has now transitioned to Vice President. John was also recently honored for his 20 years of service to Hope, his guidance, leadership and passion for Hope's mission.
With Kendra's transition to President, Robert Owens, who has been a valued member of our Board since 1996, is now Secretary.
Parry Grover, currently serving as Treasurer, was honored for 10 years of service on Hope's Board. Parry is a retired labor attorney whose support to Hope spans decades.
Arthur Jensen has moved on from Hope's Board after deciding to move to California. Arthur was a director on our Board since 2015.
After serving 10 years, most recently as Vice President, Lisa Jackson has retired from our Board. Lisa brought to her role a wealth of knowledge and experience in health care. She has taken on new responsibilities advocating for nurse practitioners. We will miss her, but we also know she will continue to benefit others through this new opportunity.
