All Aboard for Adventure

Ahoy, mateys! Gather yer crew and set sail for Hope’s Kenai Pirate’s Curse Soirée, a swashbuckling Halloween party filled with treasure, costumes, cocktails, and plenty of high-seas fun—all in support of Alaskans who experience disabilities.

On October 30, the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex will be transformed into a pirate’s playground where cursed treasure awaits, adventure is around every corner, and a little Halloween mischief is highly encouraged. Come aboard for a night of fun while helping Hope create more inclusive communities across Alaska.

Treasures Await

There’s plenty of loot to discover throughout the evening. Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts, refreshing cocktails, music from our DJ, live and silent auctions, raffles, a photo booth, and a Costume Contest worthy of the fiercest pirates on the Kenai Peninsula.

Bid on treasures, try your luck at the raffles, strike your best pirate pose, hit the dance floor, or simply grab a cocktail and enjoy the evening with your crew. There’ll be plenty of ways to join the adventure.

Don Yer Pirate Garb

Costumes are encouraged, so break out the boots, bandanas, captain’s coats, eye patches, and treasure maps!

Take inspiration from legendary pirates, daring captains, castaways, cursed sailors, sea witches, ghostly crews, treasure hunters, and creatures from the deep—or invent a seafaring character entirely your own. Whether your look is fearsome, funny, mysterious, or completely over the top, come ready to show it off in our Costume Contest and vie for treasure.
