Do you have a disability and would like to have a peer mentor? Do you want to meet new people in your community and help others who experience a disability?
Access Alaska, Inc. is recruiting for people with disabilities to join their Peer Mentorship Program. Peer support services help reduce isolation and increase self-esteem, confidence, acceptance and belonging. This program offers people with disabilities a chance to connect in a structured, supportive environment and provide one another support and well-being. It facilitates one-on-one and group peer support through goal setting and resources navigation. Participants will feel welcome and comfortable, and have opportunities to share and receive valuable resources.

Requirements:
- You must be at least 19 years old
- You must have personal experience with a disability
- You must be able to make a one-year commitment to the program
- You must pass a background check
- You must receive peer support mentor training
