As the days grow shorter and temperatures drop, it's important to find ways to keep our hands busy and our minds engaged. That's why we're bringing back our popular Craft & Connect class with a special gift-making workshop! Participants will create unique, handmade gifts for friends, family, and community members, including holiday-themed crafts, self-care baskets, decorations, and more. Stay creative, connect with others, and spread a little joy this winter by making thoughtful gifts that brighten someone else's day.
Craft & Connect classes are held every Monday, excluding federal holidays, at a cost of $10 per class.

Discovery Center Class Policies
- Our Community Engagement Center classes are only available for current recipients of Hope’s Discovery Center waivered services. If the participant is not a current recipient, they will need to contact our New Services team before they are eligible to sign up for classes.
- Each class requires a minimum number of participants. If enrollment is insufficient, we may cancel, reschedule, or modify the class.
- All class payments are generally nonrefundable. However, if a class is canceled due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, payments will be credited toward future sessions or other classes. In cases of extenuating circumstances, participants may contact our team to discuss refund options.
- Enrollment constitutes a commitment to pay the full program fee, and participants are responsible for the full balance regardless of payment schedule. Continued access to classes is contingent upon payments remaining current; access may be suspended or revoked if payments stop for any reason.
- Class fees vary based on activities and materials but are averaged for consistency, with occasional adjustments to balance program costs.
- Please review the Lesko Discovery Center's Behavioral Expectations for All Group Service Recipients. Understanding and agreeing to these guidelines is essential for participation in our weekly classes and help ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
- Please note that we have accounted for all federal holidays on which Hope's main campuses are closed. No classes will be held on these recognized holidays:
- January 1: New Year’s Day
- Third Monday in January: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Last Monday in May: Memorial Day
- July 4: Independence Day
- First Monday in September: Labor Day
- November 11: Veterans’ Day
- Fourth Thursday in November: Thanksgiving Day
- December 25: Christmas Day
