| AN OVERVIEW |
|
A Lifetime Investment in Hope Community Resources
for Alaskans who Experience a Disability
|
|
Your planned gift will help preserve the legacy and mission of Hope
Community Resources, Inc. (Hope) for generations. Simply
stated, Planned Giving is charitable gift coordinated with the overall
financial and estate plans of a donor and their family members. Planned
giving provides an opportunity for a donor to contribute to an agency
in a way that furthers its work and goals while saving taxes in
the process. With this in mind, once a donor has decided to contribute,
the gift should be structured to obtain maximum tax benefits. The
charitable deduction not only reduces the out-of-pocket cost of
a gift but, in many cases, makes possible a larger contribution
than originally planned.

|
| Planned giving with Hope is divided into the three major areas: |
