Employee Benefits and Programs

Hope Community Resources offers a great benefits package. Even with the rising costs of health care, Hope has maintained its package with little to no impact on employees. Some of the benefits available to eligible Hope employees include:

Hope's Employee Wellness Initiative 

What makes us different than other employers? Well many things set us apart, but one of the things you hear about from our employees past and present is our wellness initiative. We have been actively promoting employee and corporate wellness for over ten years.  

Hope has been a leader in emotional wellness efforts. We earned the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award from the Alaska Psychological Association in 2007, and in 2008 we won a very competitive national award for Best Practice from the American Psychological Association. 

We have an Employee Assistance Program that provides an opportunity for our employees and their direct family members to have up to three free counseling sessions at a local private clinic. These sessions are completely confidential.  

There is so much more to our wellness efforts than what we have listed here. A sustained commitment to wellness is just one of many ways that Hope is working towards a better work experience for our employees.

Certified Direct Professional Program Offered at Hope

We believe in life-long learning and as part of that we offer our direct support employees the opportunity to earn credentials as a Direct Support Professional. This 18-month to 2-year certification program to earn your Direct Support Professional (DSP) credential is available to direct support employees in good standing who have worked for Hope for a minimum of two years.
